How to measure

  1. Measure a ring you own

Choose a ring that fits the finger you are buying for. Lay it on a ruler and measure the inside edge to edge, straight across the middle, in millimetres. That is the diameter.

  2. Or measure your finger

Wrap a thin strip of paper or non-stretch thread snugly around the base of your finger. Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres. That is the circumference.

  3. Check over the knuckle

Your ring has to slide over the knuckle. If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between.

  4. Measure at the right time

Fingers are smaller when cold and larger in the heat or late in the day. Measure at room temperature towards the evening, and measure two or three times to be sure.

Fitting tips

  • Between two sizes? Choose the larger one.
  • Wide bands (over 6 mm) sit tighter, so go up half to one size.
  • Your dominant hand is usually slightly larger.
  • Stacking rings worn together can feel snugger than one ring alone.
  • Buying a surprise? Borrow a ring they wear on the same finger and measure its inside diameter.
Thread length is the measurement around your finger. Sizes can vary slightly between jewellers; between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Bracelet size chart

Wrap a soft tape or thread snugly around your wrist, just above the wrist bone, and measure it in centimetres. Your bracelet should be 1.5–2 cm longer for a comfortable fit.

Bracelet tips

  • Prefer it loose? Add 2.5 cm to your wrist instead of 1.5 cm.
  • Extender chains on many of our bracelets let you adjust the fit by a few centimetres.
  • Men's bracelets usually sit best at 20–21.5 cm (8–8.5 inch).
Bracelet length is end to end including the clasp. Check each product page for its exact length and extender.
Size Wrist cm Bracelet cm Bracelet inch

Chain length chart

Measure around the base of your neck with a soft tape or thread. Choose a chain at least 5 cm (2 inch) longer so it sits comfortably, then pick where you'd like it to fall.

Chain tips

  • Wearing a pendant? It hangs about 2–3 cm lower than the chain.
  • Layering looks best with 5 cm (2 inch) between each chain.
  • Placement also depends on your build, so treat it as a guide.
Lengths are end to end including the clasp.
Length cm Where it sits
14″ 35.6 cm Choker: close around the base of the neck
16″ 40.6 cm Base of the neck: a classic short length
18″ 45.7 cm Collarbone: the most popular length for women
19″ 48.3 cm Just on the collarbone: a little more ease
20″ 50.8 cm Just below the collarbone: easy everyday layering
22″ 55.9 cm Above the neckline: a popular length for men
24″ 61.0 cm Below the neckline: relaxed, ideal for pendants
30″ 76.2 cm Mid-chest: for long, layered looks
